Starting with piano in elementary school, then to bass, drums and guitar, Theodore "Teddy Bang" Okasinski finally settled on the instrument he can use as the backbone to the songs he plays. Theodore studied both music and education while in college at the University of Michigan. He enjoys listening and playing different genres of music ranging from jazz to latin to reggae and r&b.
His parents’ piano was just another piece of furniture until Gary climbed up and taught himself to play Hanky Panky by listening to Tommy James and the Shondells on the radio. Gary begged for lessons, but fearing more of the same his parents demurred. So he learned to play on his own. Pop music was all he performed until fifty cents bought him a couple of jazz LPs at a garage sale, and from then on he was a gone jazzbo. In the circle of life, Gary started his kids early on music lessons and now they rock steady.
